Infused Lemonade

adapted by Lorraine Smolkowski from a web recipe

makes 2 quarts

2-quart packet of Crystal Light or other lemonade, mixed as directed
½ pint strawberries, cleaned and quartered
4 or more large basil leaves, roughly chopped
Lemon slices for garnish


Mix all and put in a pitcher for 24 – 48 hours.  Strain and serve very cold on ice.  Garnish with lemon wedges or slices.


Adding gin to make a cocktail is delicious.  Vodka could also be used.
